How to produce a high quality die for customer

category:

★ Dosing&Forging of workblanks

1,Correct workblank dosing and forging are done independently by ourself.

2,Extremely precise forging and lathing assure high dimensional accuracy, bright and clean surface.

★ Die Hole processing:

1, Advanced Germany gun drill equipment, tools and drilling hole software are used in die hole processing:High accuracy of die hole position.

2,High rotating speed(18000R/M)and imported tools and cooling liquid ensures process conditions as drilling required;Small roughness of the processed die hole, ensure pelleting output and quality;Quality and service life of die is guaranteed.

★ Vacuum heat treatment

1,High vacuum to make oxidation reaction free and ensure original  inner finish of die hole.

2,The die'heating is through chassis's rotation and air convection which results in small deformation of ring die.

3,CNC control process, the ring die’stability is more better after quenching.

4,The microstructure of the ring die can  be suitable for its working condition by reasonably  heating, heat preservation, cooling rate and time of the heat treatment.

5,The high cooling rate ensures that the carbide distribution is more uniform, and the hardenability and uniformity of the ring die are guaranteed.

Fine turning and Package

1,CNC lathe will adjust its reasonable parameters again after heat treatment ,so as to turning the good quality product.

2,Wooden case or ordinary package are avaible.

About Compression Ratio

★ Generally, the higher the compression ratio, the denser of the finished pellets, but mean not the better pellet , compression ratio should be calculated based on raw material for pelleting and types of feed, buyers can customize dies with different hole diameter and compression ratio, according to different situation and requirement, the most common structure of die hole are straight hole;Release stepped hole;External conical hole and internal conical hole, etc.Different die holes structure are suitable for different raw material and feed formula for pellets-making.

The relationship between hole structure and pelleting

★ Straight hole and stepped-release hole are suitable for processing compound feed The conical hole is suitable for processing high fiber feed such as degreased bran The inner conical hole and the compression stepped hole are suitable for processing the grass powder feed with light weight

The main factor of a die' service time

★ The lifespan of a die depends on many factors: the composition of the raw material (formulation) the characteristics of the raw materials used in the feed the fat content the particle size of the mash the moisture content before pelleting the heat conditioning of the mash the pellet mill controls (i.e. automatic or manual) many others. composition High fibre formulations such as rabbit feed are harder to pellet and therefore the die will have a much shorter lifespan. As a comparison, for instance, if the lifespan of a die is 1 when used to make rabbit feed, it would be 4 for cattle feed and 5 when used on poultry feed. raw material characteristics Raw materials containing silica or sand wear dies more rapidly. Fat content Formulas containing 1.5-2% fat run smoother and are less abrasive since the fat acts as a lubricant. Particle size of the mash Mashes with large particle sizes are more abrasive. Moisture content and heat conditioning of the mash A poorly conditioned mash is drier and harder to pellet. Press control The operator should regularly check for wear on deflectors and scrapers and also on the roll adjustment to avoid uneven wear on the die leading to inefficient pelleting. Conditioner paddles must not be worn to ensure efficient pre-conditioning. Steam traps and filters ensure that no condensate passes through to the conditioner. Glossary
